Lead Recruiter

Ellen Downey has over 15 years of experience in recruiting and sales. Since founding Summit Professional Search, Inc. in 2008, Ellen has garnered a reputation as a recruiter who makes each client and candidate feel as though they are her sole focus. She has placed candidates in positions across the country.

Ellen’s specialty is establishing attentive, personal relationships with each client and candidate with whom she works. Her process develops a holistic understanding of both client and candidate and establishes transparent communication among all parties. This process distinguishes Summit Professional Search, Inc. as a recruitment agency that intuitively grasps how a candidate meets the requirements of a position in practice as well as on paper.

In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid swimmer, reader and yoga practitioner.
